Notlar The letter relates to the movement and allocation of vessels in the Indian Navy’s Persian Gulf Squadron. Kemball writes to the Government to inform it that, based on recommendations made by Commodore Robinson, Commanding Officer Persian Gulf Squadron, in a letter addressed to Kemball and dated 7 February 1854 (folio 189), the Honourable Company’s Brigantine Tigris, which has been away from Bombay for two years, should now return to Bombay for refit, as it can be replaced by the imminent return of the schooner Constanceto Bushire. In his letter Robinson writes that the despatch of the Tigrisin March will allow it to return to Bombay before the monsoon season, and will also enable him to relive some “time expired” seamen. | 2 folios | more | less
