Notlar	Part of a letter regarding the disgraceful way in which the Admiralty intend to replace the Indian Navy; the availability of vessels to support Pelly in the Persian Gulf; a visit from Sir Robert Cornelis Napier; and the need for a man-of-war and a troop of horse to support actions in the interior of India.The letter itself is undated, however the visit from Sir Robert Napier is likely to have taken place between 1865-1867 when Sir Robert was Commander-in-Chief at Bombay, working alongside Sir Bartle Frere, the Governor of Bombay. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
