Notlar	Extract from the letter regarding the resolution passed by Government on Colonel Pelly's communications regarding the possibility of relocating the Residency, main Telegraph Station and Coal Depot to a location near Cape Mussendom [Musandam] highlighting that:'these letters like everything that proceeds from Colonel Pelly's hands have a merit apart from their immediate purpose'.The resolution goes on to observe that the letters will form a valuable contribution to Government's knowledge of the Gulf and that they wil be forwarded to the Government of India.Enclosed is an extract from despatch No.7, dated 9 February 1864 from the Government of India in reply observing that:'the remarks contained in this very interesting paper are creditable to the intelligence and zeal of Colonel Pelly'. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
