Notlar Letter relates to the wreck of the Ahmed Shahand the subsequent ill conduct of the Shaik [Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmad] of Charrack [Bandar-e Chārak]. William Bruce reports that Stephen Watson Henshaw, accompanied by the ship's commander, Captain [S] Herriman, has proceeded to Charrack, in order to demand the property that may be saved. Bruce also informs Warden of the great friendship shown towards the British Government by Shaik Kalfan [Shaikh Khalfan], Governor of Assaloo [Bandar-e `Asaluyeh]. Bruce states that the packet entrusted to the Ahmed Shahwill now be forwarded by the first vessel that leaves Bushire.
