Notlar	This part of the volume consists of an abstract of contents of enclosures to a despatch from the Government of Bombay Secret Department to the Secret Committee, Number 69 of 1841, dated 30 August 1841. The enclosures themselves are not included in the volume. The enclosures listed relate to the trade in slaves which was reportedly being carried out between Zanzibar and Bombay by the subjects of the Imaum [Imam] of Muscat and other Chiefs on the African Coast.The enclosures are dated 26 February to 30 August 1841, and mostly consist of correspondence between the Government of Bombay and the Superintendent of the Indian Navy, the Senior Magistrate of Police, the British Agent at Muscat and other British officials. \| 1 item (6 folios) \| more \| less
