Outside covers blind stamped with mandorla with floral design, cornerpieces and frame; flap blind stamped with cornerpieces and partial frame. Slip case has matching blind stamped patterns on the front. Doublure is pinkish paper cut in a zigzag along the outer edge. Endbands in yellow and blue thread with a chevron pattern. | ملاحظة الديكور: Polychrome decoration in red, yellow, blue; sūrah titles in flaking gold over yellow with outside margin medallion in gold and red or blue; yellow roundels at end of each verse; vocalizations marked in red; other small dots of yellow, red, and blue throughout the text; text divisions marked in red in the margin, sometimes with gold flake decoration. Two polychrome decorative headers (f. 50r, 172v).
