Notlar In this letter Arnold Burrowes Kemball, Resident in the Persian Gulf, acknowledges the receipt of several letters from Commodore George Robinson, Commander of the Persian Gulf Squadron (nos. 78-80, dated 13 June 1853). Kemball refers to the two slaves manumitted by Lieutenant James Tronson, Commander of the Tigris, and recommends that they be retained on board that vessel until they can be removed to the Presidency in Bombay. In addition, Kemball states that he is happy to take down the depositions of any parties connected with the two slaves seized by Lieutenant Robert Anstice Stradling off Ras al Hudd [Ḥadd, Ra's al]. | 1 folio | more | less
