The writer is commiserating with the addressee’s disgrace, יסמו עינים שיראו קלונך ויחרשו אזנים שישמעו מקצת כלמתך, but puts his faith in divine justice, אבל נקבל דין השם. It is signed by ‘the insulted servant Joseph’ (העבד הנעלב יוסף).
