A letter from the Political Resident Persian Gulf advises that Shaikh Said bin Maktum should be warned not to enter into direct correspondence with the Sultan of Muscat but should rather send all letters to the Residency Agent, Sharjah for immediate referral to the Political Resident Persian Gulf.
