Notlar	In this letter to Arnold Burrowes Kemball, Resident in the Persian Gulf, Commodore George Robinson, Commander of the Persian Gulf Squadron, acknowledges the receipt of Kemball's letter of 2 August (no. 227, the previous item in this volume), which concerned an incident of piracy off Zanzibar in the Spring of 1852, for which Shaik Sultan ben Suggur [Sulṭān bin Saqr Āl Qāsimī] has been held liable. Robinson recounts his recent meeting with Sultan ben Suggur and states that the latter does not believe that he is liable for the payment of 190 dollars. Robinson reports that Sultan ben Suggur has requested that he be allowed to make another reference to Kemball before paying the money. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
