Notlar	Draft of a letter from the Governor of Bombay, Sir Philip Wodehouse reporting that Sir Richard Meade and Philip Sandys Melvill of the Baroda Commission had reached the following findings:That the attempt to poison Colonel Robert Phayre was made by a person under the instigation of Malharrao, Gaekwar; that secret communications were held between the Gaekwar and servants employed by Colonel Phayre; that the Gaekwar arranged for money to be paid to the servants; that the secret communications and monies paid were for the purpose of obtaining information of happenings at the Residency and to cause injury to Colonel Phayre.The report concludes by stating that the Maharajas of Gwalior and Jeypore [Jaipur] and Sir Dinkar Rao found the charge against the Gaekwar not-proved and were submitting separate reports. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
