Notlar	The letter is instructing the Resident that in the event that Persia declares war on Turkey, the steamer Akbar —currently at Bushire — should be ordered to immediately return to Bombay. It further conveys the approval of the Bombay Government over the Resident's decision to send the steamer Aucklandto Bussorah [Basra], and to delay its return to India until dispatches have been received from Tehran.
