Notlar	The letter discusses preparations for an expedition against Ormuse [Hormuz] to try and recover goods taken from the Islamabadin February 1765, including news (given in a postscript dated 9 November 1767) of Carim Caun's [Karim Khan] displeasure with the English for moving against Hormuz without first settling the issues of Meer Mahanna [Mīr Muhanna] and the Chaub [Banu Ka‘b].
