Petition from Buxee Khanum and Nissa Khanum, widow and daughter respectively of Aga Mohomed Bebanee, to Sir Evan Nepean, 14 November 1816, requesting that William Bruce forward to them the proceeds of the house and other possessions in Bushire belonging to the late Aga Mohomed Bebanee.2. Translation of a power of attorney given to William Bruce by Jebun Nissa in order to recover her father's inheritance from Bushire, dated 15 Jamade-ool-Sannee [Jumada al-thani] / 10 May 1816. Signed by Moolna Ghodam Mohideen and Mohomed Surajoodden Bin Ghodam Mohideen, drawn up by Moola Surfooddeen Ben Moola Jafer Saduck Khutub and witnessed by Mohamed Essmall Shirazee [Muḥammad Ismā’īl Shirāzī]. \| 3 folios \| Condition: The letter has suffered from insect damage which has obscured numerous words throughout the letter and its enclosures. \| more \| less
