Notlar Anonymous handbook on chess, dealing with its legality, origins, symbolism, classes of players, poetry in praise of chess, poetry to be recited at various stages of play, and chess techniques. The sections on techniques cover chess problems (منصوبات), openings (تعبيات) and puzzles (مخارق).
