Includes the following enclosures: [1] a copy of a translation of a letter, dated 1 May 1814, from William Bruce to Shaik Rama iben Shaik Iauber ben Azbie [Shaikh Rahma bin Jabir], requesting that he forward an enclosed letter to Ameer Soud [Saud]; [2] a copy of a translation of a letter, dated 1 May 1814, from Bruce to Shaik Hassan iben Shaik Rama iben Shaik Mutteen [Hasan bin Rahma], Chief of the Joasiemeese [Qawāsim], requesting that the captured boats be prepared for delivery; [3] a copy of a translation of a letter, dated 1 May 1814, from Bruce to Ameer Saud, Chief of the Wahabees [Wahabis], asking whether the Joasimese [Qawāsim] are subject to his authority, and if so, why they have acted in this way. \| 5 folios \| more \| less
