(vertical) and chain lines seemingly grouped in threes (or twos and threes) with roughly 12-15 mm. between the chains and 35 mm. between the groups (horizontal). \| Decoration: Instances of the divine Names (here الله , غفور , رحيم) chrysographed ; marginal annotations rubricated ; written area surrounded by a gold frame defined by black fillets ; illuminated textual dividers in the form of gold rosettes with red accents mark the ends of verses ; marginal illumination in the form of a roundel carrying the word ثمن (thumn) in gold on a blue ground with red, gold and blue accents, marks the close of one eighth (thumn) of a ḥizb or sixtieth of the text (here the 6th thumn of the 26th ḥizb). \| Script: Muḥaqqaq ; carefully executed and fully vowelled. \| Layout: Written in 12 lines per page ; frame-ruled. \| Collation: Single leaf. \| Title supplied by cataloguer. \| Ms. fragment. \| Fragment from a Mamlūk Qur’ān, carrying Sūrat Ibrāhīm (14) verses 22 through 36 (14:22-36). \| more \| less
