| Notlar | The letter is enclosing a copy of a communication received by Francis Warden from Henry Meriton, Superintendent of the Marine, dated 22 March 1815. The enclosed communication contains instructions to be passed on to Captain Hamilton, Commander of the HC Cruizer Aurora. The instructions order the Captain to provide passage for Mirza Sorab Beg [Mīrzā Suhrāb Beg] to Bushire, before delivering packets to Bussora [Basra]; any packets for Bombay from Bussora should be delivered on the return trip. It further warns that reports have been received of Joasmee [Qawāsim] pirates being present in 'great force' in the Gulf. | 2 folios | more | less |
