| Notlar | In this letter, received 7 October 1802, Samuel Manesty, Resident at Bussora [Basra], acknowledges the receipt of a letter from Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, dated 8 September 1802. Manesty states that he will call upon Akaw Mahomed Nebie [Aga Mohamed Nubi] for an explanation of his unaccountable conduct in informing Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun that he [Manesty] furnished the Baz(referred to as the Bayin earlier items) with English colors [colours]. Manesty goes on to discuss the remaining woollens from a consignment that was brought to Bushire in 1801 and concludes by requesting the sum of 30,000 piasters, on the account of the Honourable Company. | 1 folio | more | less |
