Notlar	In this letter Ephraim Gerrish Stannus, Resident in the Persian Gulf, Bushire, informs Robert Taylor, Political Agent at Bussora [Basra], that the latter's letter to William Newnham, Chief Secretary to the Government of Bombay, which was received at Bushire via the John Adam,has been forwarded to Bombay on the same ship. Stannus states that he has forwarded to Taylor two official letters from William Newnham, plus a post office packet for Bussora, together with a packet for Constantinople and a parcel of newspapers for the British Envoy at that Court. \| 2 folios \| more \| less
