Örnek Metin	Majma` al-Anhur fī Sharh Multaqā al-Abḥur (Commentary on "The intersections of the seas") is a commentary by 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad Shaikh-Zādeh (died 1667) on Multaqā al-Abḥur (The intersections of the seas) by Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Halabi al-Hanafi (died 1549), an important Islamic jurist who was born in Syria and studied and worked in Cairo and Istanbul. The work deals with issues of jurisprudence disputed among scholars of the Hanafi Mahdab (one of the four schools of law within Sunni Islam). The commentary analyzes the terms and concepts, explains their apparent and more opaque meanings, and supports the opinions expressed with evidence from the Qur'an and the Sunna. The main focus is on the Hanafi interpretation of contracts, financial and business transactions, and laws and regulations. The volume consists of 38 large sections called books. Topics covered include exchanges, transfers, judgment, claims, reconciliation, gifts, compulsion, stealing, division of property, collaboration in farming, sacrifice, and crime. The work is written for specialists in Islamic law and the pages of this copy have handwritten notes and comments. The book was published in Istanbul, then the capital of the Ottoman Empire, in 1901 and imported into the Russian Empire in the early 20th century.
