Vocalised biblical text with accents in one column, surrounded by the commentary at the top and lower part of the page and by the paraphrase at the outer side. Square types, vocalised with accents and unvocalised, for the biblical text, the headlines and the initial words of the paraphrase; semi-cursive for the paraphrase, the commentary and the colophon. No foliation, signatures or catchwords. Signatures: [1-4¹⁰⁻⁸ 5⁸ 6¹⁰ 7-8⁸ 9⁶ 10¹⁰ 11⁴ 12-13⁶ 14¹⁰ 15⁸ 16⁶ 17-20⁸⁻¹⁰ 21⁸ 22⁴ 23⁸ 24⁶ 25¹⁰ 26-27⁸ 28⁶]. The targum text partially vocalised in an early hand; few additions to the Targum text on leaf [18].1a-b in a skilled hand. Imperfect, wanting 12 leaves at the beginning, 2 in the middle and 121 at the end ; 2 leaves mutilated., Copy at shelfmark C.49.d.2 is printed on vellum. Copy at shelfmark C.49.d.19 is a fragment of this edition from the books of Genesis and Exodus, printed on paper, contains MS notes on the fly-leaves by G.B. De Rossi. This and a perfect copy in the Library at Parma are the only copies on paper known (see Van Straalen)., Hebrew and Aramaic.
