(D. & M.), "The books 1 and 2 Chronicles are omitted ... [In v. 4] a colophon ... gives the translator's name as Jacob b. Ladny ... In the Pentateuch the text is divided according to the sections of the Hebrew Bible, and each section is designated by its first word in Hebrew. In the subsequent books the ordinary chapter-arrangement is followed. Each section or chapter opens with the first few words, and each verse with the first word, in unpointed Hebrew, and continues in Karaite Turkish." (D. & M.)
