Örnek Metin [A collection of five treatises upon religious matters, by Muḥammad 'Abd Ḥayy, namely : (1) Tarwīḥ al-janān, a treatise on the question of the lawfulness of tobacco-smoking by Muhammadans, to which is appended an earlier work by the same author, entitled Zajr arbāb al-rayyān, against the practice of smoking during the fast of Ramaḍān ; (2) Rad' al-ikhwān, against certain unauthorised practices followed by some Muhammadans on the last Friday in Ramaḍān; (3) Ākām al-nafā'is, on the extent to which the use of Persian is lawful in Muhammadan worship ; (4) Zajr al-nās, on the amount of authority to be attributed to the traditions handed down by Ibn 'Abbās ; and (5) al-Inṣāf fī ḥukm al-i'tikāf, a short treatise on the nature of the obligation of the duty of '' I'tikāf " (or seclusion for a short period during the fast of Ramaḍān), accompanied by a commentary entitled al-Is'āf, by Muhammad 'Abd al-Ghafūr Ramaẓānpūrī.].
