Örnek Metin [A poem in 29 cantos in praise of the Prophet Muḥammad, each rhyming in a different letter of the alphabet. To which are added two other poems in praise of Muḥammad, namely : the Kasidah commonly known under the title Bānat Suʻād, by Kaʻb ibn Zuhayr, and the poem entitled al-Burdah, by Muḥammad ibn Saʻīd al-Būṣīrī ; together with a number of other pieces chiefly religious. The three first-named poems each accompanied by a ' Takhmīs ' or metrical amplification by Ṣadaqat Allāh al-Qāhirī.].
