Support: Non-European laid paper. Script: Written in shikastah. Layout: 15 lines in two columns with 32 marginal lines across three sides. Title supplied by cataloger. Manuscript codex. Binding: Quarter cover of plain cloth, sides of printed decorated paper in marbled design.
Örnek Metin Anthology of classical and contemporary Persian poetry containing the work of at least three dozen poets. The frequency of the nisba Isfahānī suggests production in that city. Arranged alphabetically by rhyme syllable, the text is in two parts: the first (f. 1r-66r), missing its initial folios, begins with poems ending in the letter "bāʼ"; the second (f. 67v-161v), complete from "alif" to "yāʼ", consists of ghazals.
