Notlar Fat'h Ul Mueen is an Arabic text authored by Sheikh Zainuddin Makhdoom. It deals with Shafi school of Jurisprudence. The original text was written in the 16th century. This is the most precise avaiable interpretation of fiqh in Shafi school, therefore, very popular in Yemen, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia and Malyasia where Shafi community dominates over others. Fathul Mueen is a revised version of Makhdoum's early work named Qurratul Ain. This text contains many mathematical calculations related especially to zakat. Only Babu Zakat, the portion dealing with Zakat has been digitized. Extent: Only one the portion dealing with Zakat (26 pages)has been digitized. Size and dimensions of original material: Height 21.4cm, Width 17cm, Depth 3cm. Condition of original material: Pages are fragile and brittle. Custodial history: Inherited from the ancestors.
