Other file(s) linked to this institution: FRBAMCCFR-000060-01b.xml. Writings in various hands, from the 17th century. Comprising: (folio 1 recto) the second half of a treatise, in Arabic, on the sharing of inheritances; the end of a booklet, in Turkish, dealing with the same subject (folio 6 recto); the dates of the main conquests of the Ottomans (folio 10 verso); the dates of the accession of the Ottoman sultans, from Orkhan to Ibrahim I (folio 11 verso); a series of attestation forms امضا, written by kadis, to authenticate acts and give them legal force, in Arabic (folio 12 recto); the treatise, by Tsenayi Efendi, on the particularities of civil law, the صكوك ثنائى افندى, which is described under No. 58 of the Supplement (folio 15 verso), preceded by a table of contents which refers to the eastern pagination of the manuscript; the author's nickname is given, on folio 17 verso, in the form ثانى كلادرنوى, unlike that which is read in Haği Khalifa; an administrative regulation قانون (folio 112 recto), issued in the year 1018 AH (1609), relating to “Emirati lands”; a passage on the love of boys (folio 112 verso); an extract from a collection of letters (folio 113 verso), in which appear the names of the grand vizier Baïram Pasha, Ibrahim Efendi, sheikh el-Islam Yahya Efendi, ʿAbd el-Halim Efendi, molla of Adrianople, and the titles that were to be given to dignitaries of the Ottoman court (folio 134 recto); a treatise, anonymous and untitled, on the division of inheritances (folio 141 verso), beginning, without preface, with the numeration called siyâket; the first chapters of this booklet are very summarized; the one devoted to legacies begins on folio 149 recto; this work is probably an extract from a more extensive treatise, at least in its arithmetic prolegomena. The copy is followed by legal acts and various fragments, from several hands, the most important of which is an administrative regulation, promulgated in 1018 (1609), by Sultan Ahmed I and relating to “Emirati lands” اراضى اميريّه (folio 182 verso).. Turkish binding, in brown leather.
