Nestalik, written in gold frames, by a man named Mohammed ibn Soleiman, who dated his work from 15 Rabiʿ second 1004 AH (December 18, 1595). The last date cited in the work is that of the year 968 AH (1561), in the biography of Sheïkh Daoud Khalifa, with which it ends; the translation is dedicated to Soleïman II (folio 3 verso); the author indicates neither his name nor the title he gave it; according to a note, written on the front of the first leaf, this version of the el-Shekaïk el-noʿmaniyye is very little known; it bears the title of مناقب العلما; it is the work of Mohammed ibn Sinan ed-Din Yousouf, who interpreted the text of Tashkeupruzade word for word, with the greatest fidelity; a biography of Tashkeupruzade can be read on this same leaf..
