Notes
Light soil and humidity did not affect the text. The manuscript is incomplete from the end. The manuscript was written in black ink. The outer size is 27 x 20.6 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: As for what follows: Praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon His Messenger Muhammad and his family. The poor Hassan bin Muhammad al-Attar al-Shafi’i al-Masri al-Azhari says... These are footnotes that I collected for Al-Azhari’s explanation of grammar. The end of the manuscript:... A Greek word that means melodies. Melodies are a useful source. This makes them a negative source, because previously we made them an attribute of speech, that is, the fact that speech is useful or here requires it to be an attribute.
