A good, modern copy. It was approved by the original from which it was copied and by other copies and by Ahmad bin Omar al-Khafaji’s explanation: Naseem al-Riyadh fi Sharh Shifa’ al-Qadi Ayyad. The text was written in black ink in general, and the copyist used red ink to write the headings of the paragraphs and the titles of the chapters, chapters, sections, and warning lines, on more than one type of European-made typeface in which parallel lines and various watermarks appear. The text was written on folios 1b and 2a only within tables. Doubled with gold ink, folio 1b was decorated with a primitive golden decorative pattern. It rested on a rectangular golden base on which the basmalah was written. The footnotes of the copy are heavy with quotes and quotations from similar sources, especially from Al-Khafaji’s explanation, differences in versions, and corresponding corrections. Folios 1-8 were torn at the tops, so they were given a primitive restoration, and the text was completed in a different, modern script, in addition to severe wetness, especially on folios 29-38, which led to the obliteration of parts of the text.
