All pages are lined and framed. - The beginning of it is a tabulated index of all chapters and books. - The chapter on washing also begins with a leaf with a single introductory plate on page 55. - Likewise the part that begins with prayer times. - The part that begins with the chapter on contracting clothes. - Likewise the chapter on voluntary prayers. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
