Praise be to God who has bestowed upon us the greatness and the subtleties of blessings... As for what follows, the science of hadith after the Qur’an is the best and highest of sciences... The book Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih was by Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari... the best of the authentic books... and I wrote it in the time of my neighborhood in honorable Mecca... Al-Mawakib Al-Darari in the explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari, so I named it after it... ... the chapter on tayammum, he used it with the accusative and in some of them with the nominative, his saying: As for Mina, the hamza was for the interrogative... His saying with the high, meaning tayammum. In Upper Egypt, if I say how this hadith indicates translation, I say its generality... The ruling on this hadith is not specific to some rulings on tayammum, and God knows best. This is the end of the Book of Purifications... The first part has ended... It will be followed, God willing, by the Book of Prayer.
