Corrected version and interview. | Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 848 AH = 000 - District 1444 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

عليها وقفٌ على المدرسةِ العمريةِ.#بآخرِها قيدُ قراءةٍ ما نصُّه: «الحمدُ للهِ ربِّ العالمينَ، قرَأَ عليَّ الشيخُ الفقيهُ العالمُ شهابُ الدِّينِ أبو العبَّاسِ أحمدُ بنُِ شمسِ الدِّينِ محمَّدِ بنِ غَنَّامْ الشافعيُّ أعزَّه اللهُ تعالى، جميعَ هذا الجزءِ المباركِ منْ أوَّلِه إلى آخرِه قِرَاءَةً جَيِّدةً مُتْقَنَةً جهد القدرِ في أيَّامٍ آخرُها ثالثَ عشَرَ المحرَّم سنةَ 848هـ، كتبَ: محمَّدُ بنُِ الكركيِّ».# على صفحةِ العنوانِ خاتمُ نقشٍ بداخلِه ما نصُّه: «المكتبةُ العموميةُ بدمشقِ الشَّامِ سنةَ 1297هـ»؛ وبأعلاه كُتِبَ ما نصُّه: «من عند كزبري أفندي».# على هوامشِها تعليقاتٌ وتصويباتٌ.#قُوبلَتْ على نسخةٍ أخرى؛ دلَّتْ عليها بلاغاتُ المقابلةِ الَّتي بالهامشِ.
