Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ‘The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.’” ... “Chapter on stoning with tiles, Muhammad bin Uthman bin Karamah told us, Khaled bin Mukhlid said... on the authority of Ibn Umar, who said: A Jew and a Jewish woman were brought to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace. Ibn Umar said, “They were stoned at the court, and I saw the Jew yearning for her at the end of Part Nine...”
