Date of death of the copyist: (000 - District 1117 AH = 000 - District 1705 AD). | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “From the chapter of combining the two prayers at Arafat to the chapter of one of the Arabs who owned slaves.”

He said: Salem told me that Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf, in the year he came to Ibn al-Zubayr, may God be pleased with them, asked Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, how would you do in the situation on the Day of Arafat... Chapter on shortening the engagement at Arafat... ... Chapter on one who owned slaves from the Arabs, and he gave away, sold, intercourse, ransomed, and took the offspring captive.
