Marriage is the family that Islamic law wants to establish; The family also forms the basis of society. Marriage is a lifestyle that can lead to individual and social peace, worldly and otherworldly happiness. With this, the generations were asked to be born in an environment of peace and happiness and to be educated in accordance with the quality and purpose of creation. For this reason, great importance was given to marriage and marriage was legitimized by the Book, Sunnah and ijma. Fiqh scholars have also made various evaluations about the ruling on marriage within the framework of this evidence, and almost all of them have reached the conclusion that it is sunnah to marry in a state of "i'tidāl". The institution of marriage, to which great importance has been attached throughout history, has recently faced the problem that a significant portion of our young people of marriageable age prefer loneliness rather than marriage. This situation harms individual and social life. In this article, by drawing attention to the otherworldly responsibility within the framework of the religious provision of marriage, encouraging family life and thus contributing to relevant studies by raising awareness; In addition, it is aimed to investigate the opinion attributed to Imam Shafi'i regarding the ruling of marriage.
