Notes In this research, today's young people's perceptions of religion and religiosity are examined through their religious queries and doubts. The aim of the study is to try to determine the place of religion and religiosity in the world of meaning of Muslim Turkish youth in the world evolving from modernity to post-modernity. In this research, which has a qualitative design, data was collected through participant observation and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive analysis and content analysis techniques and interpreted according to the interpretive tradition. According to the findings, young people criticize harshly the principles of faith of religion, its fiqh (worship and transactions), religious people, community and sect leaders. Criticisms of young people include intense religious doubts and even partially denialist tendencies. However, most of the young people either seek peace by taking refuge in traditional religion or question religious beliefs and practices and turn from imitative belief to authentic belief. It is seen that worship behavior among young people decreases and need religiosity increases. In this research, young people; It is divided into nine different categories: "traditional religious people", "faithful questioners", "resentful believers", "indifferent to religion", "purely spiritualists", "silent people", "skeptics/undecided", "deist-oriented people" and "atheists". It has been determined that young people who are stuck between their religious beliefs and worldly pleasures experience an identity and value crisis. In this context, young people were evaluated according to four different types: "restless religious people", "individual spiritualists", "those in search" and "those with denialist tendencies". Findings show that young people's relationships with religion are not uniform and one-dimensional, but rather complex, intense and diverse.
