This study is about the ways in which young adult individuals' perceptions of belief in God and morality are manifested in their actions. In the study, while discussing the possibility of establishing the relationship between belief and morality in Islamic thought in practice, it is questioned how the idea of God and the thought about the source of morality affect actions. In this context, qualitative research was conducted by interviewing 42 young adults, women and men aged 25-35, who believe in God, have various levels of education, from different professional groups, and live in different districts of Istanbul, and the findings were interpreted with constructivist content analysis. Research findings show that, in addition to revelation, human factors such as conscience, benefit, pleasure and reason are accepted as the source of morality and that a "fragmented understanding of morality" is formed in the belief-morality relationship. Diversity in the source of moral principles and propositions may sometimes cause belief to be bracketed or morality to be suspended. It is possible to consider this situation as an indication that the ontological, epistemological and axiological bond between the Creator and human being has not been established sufficiently.
