Notlar	5. yüzyıl ortasına tarihlenen mermer sütun başlığın levhası iki kademelidir. Bu bölgeyi taşıyan kalathos yüzeyinde üstte dört, altta beş olmak üzere akanthus motiflerinden iki sıra yer alır. Yapraklar geniş, uçları ise sivri formdadır. Üst sıradaki akanthus motifleri başlık levhasının köşelerine denk gelecek şekilde yerleştirilmiştir. Alt sırayı oluşturan açık motifler dışa bükülen uçlarıyla yan taraflardaki yapraklara değer. Başlık levhasını taşıyan ve basit spiral formlara sahip heliksler, levhanın altındaki bitkisel bezemeyi lir gibi sarar. İstanbul’daki Kariye Camii’nin yapımı için devşirilen sütun başlığı örneklerinde de lir biçiminin kullanıldığı görülmektedir. --- The abacus of this marble column capital, dated to the middle of the 5th century, has two levels. There are two rows of acanthus motifs, with four on the top register and five on the bottom, on the kalathos that supports this section. The leaves are broad and their tips are pointed. The acanthus leaves in the upper row are placed to coincide with the corners of the capital slab. The curved ends of the open motifs that make up the bottom row touch the leaves on the sides of the capital. Helixes that carry the capital slab and have simple spiral forms envelop the vegetal decoration under the slab like a lyre. This lyre form was also used in examples of column capitals that were collected as spolia for use in the Byzantine Chora Church in Istanbul.
