Notlar	Bundle of five travel documents written in Arabic, and a map. One of the documents is written in Arabic and Italian, and appears to be an agreement made in Cairo between Montagu Boulton, Francis Galton and Hedworth Barclay on the one part and Rais Ahmed el Hassnawi on the other part, for transport rental and passage to Upper Egypt, signed 25 November 1845. The bundle also contains a hand drawn map of the river Nile, with ports, towns and landmarks indicated in annotation. \| The papers are available at UCL Special Collections and Archives subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking. \| A digitised copy is held by the Wellcome Library as part of Codebreakers: Makers of Modern Genetics.
