However, the abridgment includes additions to the original text, such as Sayyid ʿAli Shah's inclusion of his Chishti (Chishti) spiritual lineage (silsila). Shataru Baba passed away five generations before him. Nevertheless, through Khwajah Allah Bakhsh Siddiqi Peshawari, he connects his lineage to the Chishti order (tariqah).
