Dr. K. B. Nasim, the Head of the Persian Department at Peshawar University, had translated several works of the renowned Sufi saint of Punjab, Hadrat Sultan Bahu Sarwari Qadiri from Persian into Urdu. On the first page, it is written that this treatise was enthusiastically presented via the Iranian ambassador on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the White Revolution to the Shah of Iran, Muhammad Riza Shah Pahlavi. In the preface, Dr. Nasim mentions the rarity of this book, which motivated him to have it reprinted. He also added an introduction, a glossary, and annotations. The introduction discusses the art of drama, its origins, drama in the Arab world, drama and Islam, and drama among the Iranians. After the introduction, there is an Urdu summary followed by the Persian text. At the end, a glossary and annotations are provided. Additionally, a list of the author's works and writings can be found at the conclusion of the book. | Digitization for the Sufi Shrine Libraries of the Afghan-Pakistan Frontier collection was sponsored by the Modern Endangered Archives Program with funding from Arcadia. | unknown
