Notes
The study deals with one of the types of social care facilities, which are fountains or cishma lar, which provide watering to passers-by, with the aim of earning reward from God Almighty. It aims to shed light on this type of social care facilities, the means of supplying them with water in Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, its distribution strategy, its architectural style in Bursa, the social groups contributing to its architecture, and the architectural and artistic influences that influenced watering social care facilities during the Ottoman era.
