Notlar	The Galilee family is one of the most important families that ruled the city of Mosul, and to it belong most of the archaeological buildings in the city. This family was able to gain the confidence of the people of Mosul through the good reputation enjoyed by the men of this family and their many constructions works such as building walls, castles, forts and building mosques The university and the restoration of the old ones, as well as the construction of inns and markets, as well as many endowment buildings that they built for themselves and their descendants. The research was divided into several paragraphs: The first paragraph dealt with the urban fabric of the city in terms of narrow alleys and adjacent houses, the layout of the houses and its most important components. The second paragraph came to talk about the walls, castles, and towers of the city, which were reconstructed and parts restored in this era. The third paragraph dealt with the most important mosques built by the Galilean rulers and the most important schools that were attached to them. and in the last paragraph, we talked about the most important khans that were built and stopped during this period. The research relied on a number of sources and research related to the topic, including the book of Abd al-Salam Raouf (Mosul in the Ottoman Era), Imad al-Din Khalil's book (Steps in the Heritage of Mosul) and another research تعد الأسرة الجليلية واحدة من أهم الأسر التي حكمت مدينة الموصل وإليها تعود أغلب الأبنية الآثارية الموجودة في المدينة وقد استطاعت هذه الأسرة كسب ثقة أهل الموصل من خلال السمعة الطيبة التي تمتع بها رجالات هذه الأسرة وقيامهم بالعديد من الأعمال العمرانية من بناء الأسوار والقلاع والحصون وبناء المساجد الجامعة وترميم القديم منها وكذلك تشييد الخانات والأسواق فضلا عن العديد من الأبنية الوقفية التي أوقفوها على أنفسهم وذريتهم. وقد قسم البحث إلى عدة فقرات تناولت الفقرة الأولى النسيج العمراني للمدينة من حيث الأزقة الضيقة والبيوت المتلاصقة وتخطيط البيوت وأهم مكوناتها. وجاءت الفقرة الثانية للحديث عن أسوار وقلاع وأبراج المدينة التي أعيد بناؤها وترميم أجزائها في هذا العصر. أما الفقرة الثالثة فتناولت أهم المساجد التي قام الولاة الجليليون ببنائها وأهم المدارس التي ألحقت بها. والفقرة الأخيرة تكلمنا فيها عن أهم الخانات التي بنيت وأوقفت في هذه الفترة. واعتمد البحث على عدد من المصادر والبحوث التي تخص الموضوع منها كتاب عبد السلام رؤوف (الموصل في العهد العثماني)، وكتاب عماد الدين خليل خطوات في تراث الموصل وغيرها من البحوث.
