In the beginning medallion, partly torn off. It is followed by two medallions of concentric circles containin magic symbols. Two more medallions with magic symbols further down the scroll. Text in vocalised Naskhi script black ink. Verse markers in red. The text is placed within double frames in black ink. Titles in in red in panels. The amulet text protecting against weapons (silah) is illuminated with two swords and a hand; the text against arrows is illuminated with a drawn bow and arrow and the one against fire arms is illuminated with guns. The last text in the end of the scroll is written upside down. On the margins vertical text panels separated with red verse markers., The amulet consists of prayers in Ottoman Turkish and Arabic. The Arabic prayers are followed by an explanation in Ottoman Turkish. Verses from the Qur'an are written vertically in panels on the margins. The scroll is an amulet written for Hasan ibn Ahmad. He is identified as the owner of the scroll in the panel before the last text. Some of the prayers on the amulet give protection specifically against weapons (swords), arrows, fire arms and plague., The scroll is folded to fit an accompanying envelope. On the envelope in brown ink: "Til S. T. H. Cand. Elberling, Walkendorffs Collegium No 8, Sct. Pederstrædet, København". The envelope has been closed with a red lacquer seal with a coat of arms (swimming swan). Carl Wilhelm Elberling (1800-1870), a Danish philologist lived in Walkendorffs Collegium 1821-1826.
