Notlar	This research deals with the study of one important companion of the prophet M. “Al- Moghera Ibn Shoba“, his genealogy and his social life. We speak here of his participation with the prophet in his battles especially in “Hunaen“ and “Al-Thaqif “ siege against the revoltings. The research also deals with Al-Moghera's role in destroying Allat Idol ascribed to Thaqif, besides his role in renegade wars during the reign of Abu Bakir Al-Siddiq (God May bless him). The research takes into consideration analysis of his works and also studies his personal aspect so long as he was unique, genius, smart and reasonable character. The research focuses on his activity in liberating some of the Arab- Islamic lands. We have to know that he was appointed to be the “Wali“ on Basrah during the reign of the Caliph Omar (God May bless him), and later on the “Wali“ on “Kofa“ during the reign of Ottoman and “Muawiyah“ Finally, this paper also shed light on the charge which caused him to retire and how it has been refuted depending on proof and other historical pleas, and it involves the death of this sublime companion. يتناول البحث دراسة عن شخصية الصحابـي الجليل المغيرة بن شعبة الثقفي، من حيث اسمه و نسبـه و حياته الإجتماعية، ثم يتطرق إلى إسلامه وأبرز مشاركاته في المعارك و الغزوات التي خاضها الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، كمعركـة (حنين)، و حصـار (الطائف) بلده و مسقط رأسه، و يتطرق البحث إلى دوره في تحطيم (اللات) صنم ثقيف، أضافـه إلى دوره في حروب الردة على عهـد الخليفـة أبو بكر رضي الله عنه و يتنـاول البحث بشيء من الدراسة و التحليل بعض أعمالـه و جوانب من شخصيتـه مع التركيز على مـا امتازت به هذه الشخصية من ذكاء و فطنة و رجاحة عقل و مهابة جعلت صاحبها داهية من دهاة العرب الذين تفخر بهم الأمة. و يعرج البحث إلى دوره في عمليات الفتح و التحرير العربي الإسلامي، إضافـةً إلى اختياره و اليـا على البصرة و الكوفة على عهد الخليفة عمر بن الخطاب (رضي الله عنه) و واليا على الكوفة على عهد الخليفة عثمان بن عفان (رضي الله عنه) و عهد الخليفـة معاوية بن أبي سفيان (رضي الله عنه). و يلقي البحث بالضوء على التهمة التي اتهم بها هذا الصحابـي الجليل والتي كانت سببا في عزلـه من قبل الخليفة عمر (رضي الله عنه) عن و لاية البصرة مع مناقشة لهذه القضية و تفنيدها بما يتيسر من أدلة و نصوص تاريخية. و أخيرا يتناول البحث و فاة هذا الصحابي الجليل رحمه الله تعالى.
