The Ottoman archive is full of many documents that chronicle the Ottoman Empire, such as administrative correspondence and political and social reports. In this study, the researcher discussed some of the contents of the Ottoman archive, such as the poems that scholars and intellectuals sent to the Ottoman Sultan on various occasions. The researcher in this study pointed out the interest of the Ottomans in the Arabic language, and this was represented by the decision issued against the director in charge of one of the Ottoman newspapers to fine him a sum of money because he insulted the Arabic language. The study also included some poems that were written describing the Ottoman Sultan, and some letters that were sent to the Ottoman leaders.
