Notlar Arabic Font is on top of Islamic arts that have greater attention and care in the ottoman era, for what it has of sacredness in Islamic Communities. It is the font with which Holy Quran verses were written. Holy Quran is the first manuscripts that received more attention from artists to decorate and aestheticize and develop its perseverance methods. The study aims at showing the significant role of ottomans in developing Arabic fonts and the most significant fonts they discover and innovate during that era, and the use of such fonts in copies of Holy Quran and Islamic manuscripts. The study adopts the analytic descriptive approach of the fonts used in that era. The study comprises, in addition to the introduction, a description of most prominent fonts and their development during ottoman era and a conclusion of the significant results and findings the study reached and the references and bibliography are listed at the end.
