First letter of title is missing due to tear in paper., Manuscript erroneously foliated beginning on the first flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation., Physical description: 23 lines per page; written in neat naskh in black on glazed, laid paper. Leaves 4-138 are on Arabic paper, while leaves 139-301 are on European paper. There appears to be a change of hands at this point, although the ink used for rubrication is the same color. Rubrication and catchwords; marginal notes. Some staining and numerous paper repairs, particularly to the last leaf., Origin: 23 Muḥarram 1114 H [19 June 1702], by Ibn Abū [!] Turāb ʻAbd al-Khāliq (leaf 301b)., Incipit: اللهم اني احمدك حمدا ىقلّ فى انتشار ... اما بعد فان رعاية الايمان توجب قضاء حق الاخوان \| Lacquered binding with painted central mandorla, pendants, and cornerpieces. Spine has been repaired and parts of the paint have flaked off. \| On first flyleaf, owner's note and stamp of Muḥammad Jaʻfar ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥusaynī, and note of Ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥusaynī Muḥammad Bāqir, dated 1324 H [1906 or 1907]. On second flyleaf, owner's note and stamp of Muḥammad Jaʻfar (different handwriting and stamp from that on first flyleaf). Two smudged stamps on third flyleaf. Owner's stamp on leaf 13b.
